Wanslea Treasure Island Early Learning and Development Centre, opened on March 26, 1988, by Dr. Judyth Watson and Mr. Bob Treasure, is a not-for-profit childcare facility located in Cannington, just 20 minutes from Perth CBD and opposite Carousel Shopping Centre.
We care for children aged 0-5 years and are licensed to care for up to 58 children each day.
Our Safeguarding Accreditation provides affirmation for families, communities, and stakeholders that we uphold the highest standards in keeping children and young people safe, continuously striving for best practice and quality improvement. Most importantly, it assures children and young people we will always listen and trust their voices.

Hello, I am the proud Centre Coordinator at Wanslea Treasure Island Early Learning and Development Centre. I have worked in the early childhood education and care sector for seventeen years and am deeply passionate about the importance of the first five years of a child’s life. My focus is on ensuring children receive high-quality education and care that sets a strong foundation for their future.
I truly believe in a child-centred approach—listening to and observing each child to understand their strengths, interests, and areas for growth. We work in close partnership with families, recognising them as their child’s first and most important teachers, and together we build a strong support network for each child’s learning journey.

Fantastic centre with beautiful staff. The rooms are well equipped and spacious and the outdoor play areas are huge! Lots for the children to do. All the educators are well experienced, been there for a long time, and really pay attention to detail. The curriculum and activities are well planned and creative. Highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing care. Staff all doing a great job taking care of the kids, i left my LO feel at ease everyday knowing he's in good hand. Great outdoor space, feels very natural. Highly recommend👍👍
My 2.5yo daughter loves going to this child care. They have good child development program. My daughter, once very shy, has gained so much self-confidence in herself now. The centre is also very health conscious and always clean. My daughter rarely get sick from the centre.
