At Wanslea’s St Peter and Emmaus Early Learning and Development Centre, our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. This approach gives your child control over their learning and encourages them to develop through exploration and play. Our educators are experienced in providing a quality program for your child and receive support from a full-time university qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
We believe that positive relationships are crucial in early childhood, so we take great care in fostering connections amongst educators, children, families and the community. We ensure all families are engaged on an individual basis and will keep you informed of your child’s learning journey in-person and through our online forum.
As part of our mission to create inclusive Australian communities, we believe in understanding and sharing Aboriginal culture. We have embedded an Acknowledgement of Country that is said each day with the children and often invite Aboriginal Leaders to work and teach alongside our educators.
“My son has been coming here since he was 9 months old and he is now almost 2 and a half. From the moment we first enquired till now, the staff have been amazing. So friendly, caring and very passionate about what they do. My son loves it there and we love the support we receive as parents. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who is looking for a fantastic Early Learning Child Care centre.”
