MyTime

Support for parents and carers of children with a disability, chronic medical condition or complex needs

MyTime groups are for all parents and family carers of children aged under 18 years who need a higher level of care than other children. This may be because of disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition.

MyTime is a place for you to unwind and talk about your experiences. It’s a world away from appointments and therapy. It’s support for you.

MyTime groups are free to  join, and being a part of MyTime does not affect your NDIS funding.

Meet other parents and  family carers of children with disabilities. MyTime is a place to socialise,  to discuss, to get information, and to support and be supported by other  carers.

All MyTime groups have a trained facilitator, who helps  group members get to know each other and learn more about local resources and  support services.

MyTime is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, and nationally coordinated by the Parenting Research Centre www.mytime.net.au
